SOUL FLOW CHIANG MAI

Seven days in Chiang Mai — mountains, temples, food, music, stillness, and a small circle of people doing it together.

DEC 6 -12 2026

This isn't a retreat that sits you in a room all week. Some days you'll meditate at sunrise. Some days you'll be on an ATV in the jungle, or riding out to a mountain lake, or getting a massage after a long hike. It's built to give you space — not to fix you.

Not Just A Retreat.
A Reset.

You're carrying a lot. The pace that never really stops, the noise that follows you even on vacation.

This week isn't about escaping that for seven days and going right back. It's a chance to slow down, get outside, eat well, move your body, make some music, and give yourself room to hear your own thoughts again. Some of it will be still. Some of it will be an adventure. Both matter.

Intentions For Your Journey

Intimate photograph representing slowing down

Slow Down

Step out of the pace you're used to. Mornings here move differently — space to release, not perform.

Intimate photograph representing going within

Go Within

A quiet visit to a mountain temple, morning meditation, and space to hear your own thoughts without a dozen things competing for them.

Intimate photograph representing movement

Move

Nature walks, Ecstatic Dance, and gentle practice to wake the body up, not just the mind.

Intimate photograph representing exploration

Explore

ATV rides through the jungle and an evening wandering Chiang Mai's night markets — this is Chiang Mai, and we're going to actually see it.

Intimate photograph representing connection

Nourish

Chef-prepared meals built around real Thai flavor, served family-style — food that's worth slowing down for.

Rest & Restore

Time for a massage, a facial, a slow afternoon — real rest, not just packed programming.

THE RHYTHM

A Sample 7-Day Arc

Experience a carefully calibrated journey that moves from outer noise to inner stillness. Each day builds upon the last, guiding you through grounding practices, profound exploration, and finally, integration for your return home.

Day 1

Arrival & Grounding

Settle in. Opening circle, intention setting, and an easy first night together.

Day 2

Temple & Stillness

Morning meditation, then a visit to Wat Pha Lat with lunch in the mountains. Evening left open.

Day 3

Adventure Day

Full day out — ATV and elephant experience. This is the day we get dirty, laugh a lot, and come back tired in the best way.

Day 4

Explore Old City

A day to wander Chiang Mai’s old city — temples, markets, food, and slow exploring together.

Day 5

Nature & Connection

A mountain walk, an open sharing circle, and time to talk about what’s coming up for people.

Day 6

Rest & Relax

A slower day to restore — massage/spa time, unstructured space, and a calm evening together.

Day 7

Integration & Departure

Closing circle, farewell brunch, and the trip home.

THE ENVIRONMENT

The Sacred Mountains Of Chiang Mai

The mountains, temples, and jungle here aren't just scenery — they're where a lot of this week actually happens. Some of the best moments won't be planned; they'll just be what happens when you're somewhere this beautiful with people who are paying attention.

Haji Basim, Founder and Facilitator
SF

Meet Haji Basim

For over 20 years, Haji Basim has built his life around music and meditation — not as separate things, but as one practice. He's studied sitar in India, lived in ashrams, recorded music internationally, and spent two decades figuring out what it means to actually slow down.

Along the way, that's taken shape as ecstatic dance, guided meditation, and retreats he's led around the world — always coming back to the same question: what does it actually mean to be present, and to be honest with yourself.

Soul Flow comes out of that — not a program he built to sell, but an experience built from what he's actually spent his life exploring. He'll be there the whole week, playing music, leading meditation, holding space for ecstatic dance, sitting in circle, and getting to know the people who show up.

CLARITY BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Questions For The Path

Preparing for a journey to Northern Thailand is a profound step. We have compiled the most frequent questions to help you feel grounded, prepared, and ready before you submit your application.

What airport do I fly into, and is transportation included?

You will fly into Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX). Yes, we provide complimentary, private airport transfers directly to the retreat sanctuary upon your arrival and departure.

I am traveling solo. Will I feel out of place?

Not at all. The majority of our guests travel solo. The retreat is intentionally structured to foster deep connection, communal safety, and organic friendships from the moment you arrive.

Do I need prior experience with meditation or sound healing?

Absolutely not. This journey is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you are beginning your practice or deepening a lifelong path, you will receive personalized support.

What is the application process and timeline?

Once you submit your application, our curation team reviews it within 48 hours to ensure alignment with the group. If accepted, you will receive a private registration link to secure your spot with a deposit.

What should I pack for the retreat?

Bring comfortable, breathable clothing for daily practices, a light layer for cooler mountain evenings, and slip-on shoes. A comprehensive packing guide will be provided in your welcome portal upon registration.

Is there time to just rest?

Yes — this isn't wall-to-wall programming. There's a full rest/spa afternoon built in, plus open time most days.
